Proceeds from the ride benefit the Lancaster Bicycle Club’s grant program. Over $600,000 has been donated for covered bridge restoration and bike-related initiatives since 1999.

The Covered Bridge Classic is a premier Pennsylvania ride now in its 47th year. It offers beautiful routes of 100 mile, 66 mile, 54 mile, 31 mile, and 17 mile routes, in Lancaster County. Each route traverses through covered bridges and passes Amish farms. All routes cover rolling terrain with moderate climbing.

There are 7 start locations to choose from. Not all distances are available from all locations.

You will be asked to pick a start location in the registration process so we can provide you with the correct route information. You can ride any distance that is served from your parking location. Final route information will be sent out closer to ride time.

There is limited parking capacity at each start location. You will be asked during registration, whether you will be riding, driving or carpooling to the start location.

There will be a 17 mile escorted route from Catalyst Christian School starting at 8:00; 8:30 and 9am
Event details and schedule:
- Rolling start: 7 am – 9 am. Riders must start no later than 9 am and end by 4:00 pm.
- Registration cost is $50 for all rides.
- Registration ends when the parking capacity is sold out.
- No day-of registration.
- This is a Rain or Shine event.
- PLEASE NOTE: On-site check-in required to be eligible for SAG and rest stops.
- Helmets are REQUIRED.
- We will have water, Gatorade, and an assortment of riding foods at the rest stops.
- Each route will be well marked.
- The ride is supported with rest stops, SAG Support and mechanical support at the start of the ride and at the rest stops.
- SAG services are for emergencies only.
- All rules of the road must be followed.
- Children 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult rider.
- Special edition, high quality tech material T-shirts are available for purchase during the event registration process. Orders must be placed by 7/15. These pre-ordered T-shirts will be available for you at ride check in.
